Dog in Japan

An illustration project where we had to tell a story! I was deliberating on which tale to tell, but I eventually landed on a true story from my time studying abroad in Japan. It is a bit of a bittersweet tale, and I'll let it speak for itself. It was fun to finally do a more illustrated-based project, and I had fun experimenting with halftones and crosshatching.
